I was delighted to meet with you yesterday and witness first hand how beneficial your workshops are for educating our children. It was lovely to see their enjoyment and sense of achievement as they experienced chopping, stirring, cooking and tasting the food. Something that they do not get the opportunity to do very much and it is such an important life skill for them. You presented in such an engaging, interesting manner but at the same time being very aware of the safety implications of having 30 children near cookers and steamers. I admire your bravery (and patience)! It is great that you will be returning again on Thursday 20th June and I look forward to seeing another recipe being demonstrated. So many children and adults commented on the delicious aromas coming from the hall all day which certainly inspired many to try the chilli - myself included! Many thanks again for such an excellent day and for sharing your obvious love of teaching children the importance of healthy nutrition with us.

Thank you again for the brilliant Practical Nutritional Cookery Workshops last week at Colsterworth Primary School – they really were excellent.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you. Your energy and enthusiasm really shone through and rubbed off onto the children. They loved the cooking. Equally the KS1 children loved their fitness and food workshop. Hopefully the healthy eating message will filter through to parents via their children and we will see more fruit and veg in packed lunches.

Our head of school is thrilled with how the day went and I am sure we will see you again the future.

Thank you so much for coming in to Kidgate Primary School last week. The children (and staff) had an absolutely fantastic day and it was a joy to hear that so many children were inspired to cook at home as a result. To say that many of the children started by saying 'I don't like' and ended with 'wow that was amazing' is a credit to you and your enthusiasm.

Darren. Thank you so much for your recent visit to Huntingtower CP Academy. There is so much praise going around from the teachers when you left on how well you presented yourself, the way the children responded to you and of course for the children to experience a life skill. The year 2 staff are very much impressed with today and they very much look forward to seeing what the children write about.
